Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch, who plays Lois Lane on the upcoming “Superman & Lois” TV series, received an amazing gift for beginning filming on the new series.
The gift is a framed photo of Lois Lane and Clark Kent from “Superman II,” which is signed by Margot Kidder.
It’s unclear who gave her the gift, but Tulloch shared a photo of it on Twitter, calling it the “coolest series start gift eve!”

In a 2018 post on Instagram, Tulloch recalls how for most of her life she has been told that she looks like Margot Kidder. Even when she first started acting, it was Kidder’s Superman screen tests she used for inspiration.
“All the actors were terrific, but it was very clear to me why Margot Kidder got that role. She just brought an energy and an enthusiasm and a sense of fun and spirit that nobody else really had,” she says, adding that she hoped she did the same when she auditioned.
Starring Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch in the title roles, the “Superman & Lois” TV series will premiere on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 on The CW.
