Elizabeth Tulloch Cast as Lois Lane for The CW’s Crossover

Elizabeth Tulloch, best known for her role in the TV series “Grimm”, has been cast in the role of Lois Lane for The CW’s December superhero crossover.

Tulloch will appear alongside Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman in the three-part Arrowverse crossover event.

When Lois and Clark’s involvement was first announced, “Supergirl” executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said, “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”

The special 3-night crossover event will begin in “The Flash” on Sunday, December 9 at 8.00pm ET, and then continue in “Arrow” on Monday, December 10 at 8.00pm ET, and will conclude with “Supergirl” on Tuesday, December 11 at 8.00pm ET.

Uncanny resemblance to Margot Kidder. Which I know that’s kind of as cliche as saying every guy picked for Superman looks like Reeve but I honestly do see a similarity.

It didn’t even occur to me until you said something and now I can’t unsee it haha. I’m not familiar with her work but I’m sure she’ll do just fine.

In fact, Elizabeth took to social media posting this on her Instagram I think

When I started acting, one of my teachers asked me to watch the screen tests for the role of Lois Lane for 1978’s Superman. All of the actresses were terrific, but it was always clear to me why Margot Kidder won the role: she seemed lit from within, full of joie de vivre.

So to those thinking Margot Kidder’s Lois…I think for Superman The Movie fans…some major points have been scored.

And if something happens to Tyler, her husband looks like he’d make a great Superman, too:

That got a downvote? LOL! Geez, people, I didn’t say he *should* replace Tyler, just that he’d be a good Superman too.

I liked her in GRIMM, and she could easily play a smart and accomplished journalist. And I always thought her co-star and real life husband, David Giuntoli, looked like he could play Superman.

Exciting! I just hope they modify Hoechlin’s suit to a more “classic” look.

If they could at least tweak the cape attachment and give him better boots.

Excellent news! She really is a good pick for Lois Lane. I so can’t wait to See Tyler’s Superman and Elizabeth’s Lois in the upcoming crossover.
“Man this is going to be good.” As a certain Extra from superman 2 would say.
Funny coincidence that I’m watching Superman Returns just as I found out about Elizabeth’s casting of Lois Lane.

I still want a scene of Lois taking zero crap from Cat and/or Snapper.

I don’t think Snapper was in season 3.
