In an announcement that will surprise nobody, DC Comics revealed that “Doomsday Clock #10”, which was originally supposed to ship on Wednesday, March 27, has been postponed until May 29, 2019.
Issue #11, which was solicited to be available May 22, will now not appear on comic book store shelves until August 14.
At this rate it is anyone’s guess when issue #12 will see the light of day.
This series, if it had remained on schedule, should have concluded its twelve issue run in December 2018.
That’s okay. Take your time. I’d rather a quality story done correctly rather than a rushed one.
Y’know, it’s hard not to get upset at DC for this nonsense. Here’s a story that they were hyping up like crazy, only to then either have these issues released by-monthly or now delayed. They’re really something else with this. By the time we have issue 12 out, who’s gonna really care? Really upsetting.
In such a magical world we live in, I hope Dr. Manhattan realizes the epic booboo he made in resurrecting Jor-El, and fixes so that he dies on Krypton just so that he won’t take Jon along with him on that dopey space trip & save the effort of Lois & Clark being bad parents, which results in Jon going back to being a kid again.
I miss “SuperSons” man-dangit. >_<
I guess that they want to keep interest in this story by making it by monthly. The biggest thing that they were hyping was Dr. Manhattan’s fight with Superman. But I guess that’s something worth having is worth waiting for. So now we have to wait eight months for this story to conclude. I thin that this is a bunch of bat baloney. What has one Post in this thread said is better to have a good story then one that’s not so good.
