December 15, 2016: New “Justice League Action” Clip – “Shazam Slam”

DC Entertainment has released a new preview video clip from the premiere of the “Justice League Action” animated series.

In “Shazam Slam,” the villainous Black Adam battles Batman on the Rock of Eternity and unleashes a horde of Djinn determined to turn the Earth back to its pre-human, volcanic state. Affected by the otherworldly powers of these primordial monsters, Batman becomes possessed and is turned into a giant flying Batmonster laying waste to the Hall of Justice, with only Superman capable of taking the fight to the Dark Knight. One by one, the Justice League – with the help of Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) and The Wizard (voiced by Carl Reiner) – must hunt down and defeat each Djinn in order to yet again save the world from destruction.

The world’s greatest Super Heroes return to television in Justice League Action, an all-new quarter-hour animated series. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and based on characters from DC, Justice League Action is coming soon to Cartoon Network.

“Justice League Action” will premiere on Cartoon Network in the U.S. on Friday, December 16 at 6.00pm.

Finally! A segment where Superman has to stop a mind-controlled and/or evil Batman instead of the other way around! Now, if we could just get a comic like that. Like a reverse Dark Knight Returns or something…
