Dean Cain appeared on the “Today” show on Channel 9 in Australia yesterday morning, discussing his time playing Clark Kent/Superman on the TV series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and the possibility of a revival show set 30 years after the show ended back in 1997.

I met Dean Cain once at a comic fest in New Jersey. He’s a really great guy. Really does the name of Superman proud. I hope he gets a Superman revival series. 🙂
I miss his Superman show.
Oh yeah. Definitely the most down to earth depiction of superman ever on the small screen.
I remember seeing an interview of Dean where he said he enjoys hearing fans tell him of the times that they would watch his Superman show with their family members. He knows that Superman matters to us fans, and he gives fans respect. He’s a classy guy. 🙂
I always enjoyed his Post crisis Clark Kent portrayal and Teri Hatcher is one of if not my favorite Lois Lane portrayal. She and Erica had that it factor that both Kate Bosworth and Amy Adams lacked.
The first couple seasons were good, but when off the rails when Lois starting eating frogs or whatever.
And Lex Luthor. I always thought that John Shea gave an excellent performance with that version of the character.
John doesn’t get nearly the credit he deserves for his Lex. He was unique among the interpretations of the character and he was a perfect mirror of the early ’90s stereotypical soap-opera rich dream-guy with a dark twist. Excellent take for the type of show Lois and Clark was.
Teri was a great Lois. She really played the part well. I hope that I get to meet her someday. 🙂
I would take a revival show of Lois & Clark instead of the upcoming CW’s Superman/Lois
I can’t get the video to work, because the thirty-five security plugins I’ve installed on Mozilla block it, but I was talking with a friend about it recently and we were both curious if Dean is prepared to go through the fairly grueling process of getting back in shape at his age to put on the suit. I mean, if he’s got it, I’m all for it; Lois and Clark made me a Superman fan and it will always have a special place for me.
If he does get a chance to play him again, maybe they could design a muscle suit for him. It worked for John Wesley Shipp when he reprised the Flash role for the crossover. Although his Flash had a muscle suit from the start of his run (yes I said run 🙂 ) back in the early 1990’s. He might not even need a muscle suit. With the right amount of exercise, he could get into decent shape. He is a big guy, so I don’t think that he would have to train to hard for his arm muscles.
He looks like he has been enjoying some pie here latley and he is a Trump supporter. Hollywood is not fond of Trump so Hollywood isn’t going to give him a new show JS. He says this literally every year. Literally every year. Dean Cain be like…”I am talking a Lois and Clark revival.” I bet you could back check this page’s news and every year you see somewhere, “Dean Cain talks Lois and Clark Revival.”…..and then nothing. Then next year he repeats this.
Also I am in no way body shaming. Nothing wrong with liking pie but if your going to play Superman then you got to set the pie down and train lol!
Don’t worry, I knew what you meant. I wasn’t body shaming either. When I said that he is a big guy, I meant he has muscles. I meant it as a compliment.
Oh please……for the love of God,….no more LOIS and SUPERMAN.
I disagree redcape. The more of Superman and Lois we get the better. I’m looking forward to seeing the new Superman and Lois show soon. And I’m positive it will do well.
