Alternate Endings to Iconic Fights
One of the standout features of this omnibus is the inclusion of the alternate endings to the epic superhero battles from Marvel vs. DC #3, originally published in the 1990s. Fans will recall the intense debates and heated discussions surrounding these legendary matchups. Now, we can explore some of the “what if” scenarios that never made it into the main storyline. Among these alternate endings are:
- Lobo defeating Wolverine – A clash of two of comics’ most ferocious antiheroes with Lobo taking the upper hand.
- Wonder Woman triumphing over Storm – A battle of elemental power versus Amazonian might with a surprising outcome.
- Superboy besting Spider-Man – A personal favorite for many fans, showcasing the youthful energy and skills of the Boy of Steel.

These alternate takes provide a fascinating glimpse into the creative process behind the crossover event, offering new perspectives on how the battles could have played out.
Trading Cards Collection
Another nostalgic gem included in the omnibus is the complete set of Marvel vs. DC trading cards. Back in the day, these cards were a must-have for collectors, featuring stunning artwork and detailed stats for each hero and villain. For those who missed out on collecting them or simply want to relive the excitement, this omnibus provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy these pieces of comic book history in one convenient volume.
