Superman Homepage reporter Isaac Frisbie attended the panel for the upcoming “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” video game from Rocksteady, which was held at 8:10pm EDT on Saturday, August 22 in the Hall of Heroes section of DC FanDome, and filed this report:
“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” is an upcoming game from Rocksteady Studios (the makers of the well known Arkham series), which will center around the well known anti-hero group The Suicide Squad.
The story will take place in the same universe as the Arkham series and centers around the group having to combat and defeat Brainiac who is controlling the Justice League. The trailer shows a mind controlled Superman vaporize a pilot that he had supposedly just saved in front of Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang.
The panel at DC FanDome covered some of the plot and gameplay. It will play similarly to the “Batman: Arkham” series with options to play multiplayer or to switch between characters while the others become AI (if it is a single player game).
