DC Comics Set to Announce Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen Comic Books

According to BleedingCool.com, DC Comics are set to announce the two knew Superman related comic book titles: Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.

Somehow obtaining the complete solicitations for May ahead of their official release by DC Comics, Bleeding Cool discovered that May’s “Leviathan Rising” one-shot comic book will launch a “Jimmy Olsen” series by Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber, and a “Lois Lane” series written by Greg Rucka with art by Mike Perkins.

As Leviathan enacts a plan to take down Superman, it’s up to Lois, Jimmy, and the heroes of the DC Universe to rescue the Man of Steel.

Look for the official release of DC’s May solicitation to be posted laster this week.

I was prepared to be completely “meh” about this, like everything else DC publishes these days…

And then I saw the writers. Greg Rucka and Matt Fraction? Okay, I’m on-board. Maybe we can segue these two onto the main books, pretty please?
