DC Comics Round Robin Asks Fans to Choose New Series

Round Robin

DC Comics has launched a Round Robin event in which fans get to choose which story idea they want DC to launch from a selection of 16 different pitches.

As each round of voting ends, DC will announce which story idea won through to the next round. There are a few Superman related pitches amongst the collection.

Once one of these storylines emerges the victor, DC’s editorial team will start their engines to have the full series roll out in late 2021.

Here are some of the Superman related pitches:

Paws Off the Justice League
When the Justice League disappears, Jimmy Olsen and the Super Pets must save the world from certain doom by posing as the missing League.

Superman & Lois: Ignition
Our solar system is a machine—and its purpose is to trap and kill Superman! The sun is darkening, Mars’s orbit is changing, and a mysterious citadel in Jupiter’s Great Red Eye has awoken; it is time for Kal-El to stand against the very end of his world. But he won’t be doing it alone: Lois Lane is suited up and blasting off to get the biggest story in human history…and to watch Clark’s back as he faces his greatest challenge yet. Facing ancient aliens and planet-sized machines, trickster asteroids and the gigakrakens of Neptune, Superman and Lois will fight across all nine planets to prevent Earth’s dark destiny and save our future!

Voting Schedule:
Every day during the voting periods head over to DC Comics official Instagram and Twitter to vote on which title you’d like to see make it to the next round. There will be 3 matchups to vote on, so feel free to vote on all 3.

Round one: March 31st, 2021 to April 7, 2021
Round two: April 8th, 2021 to April 15th, 2021
Round three: May 5th, 2021 to May 13th, 2021

If this Jimmy Olsen/Super Pets series would be anywhere close to as enjoyable as the recent Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen maxi-series, I would definitely read that.

I’m intrigued by the Superman and Lois pitch. With the right creative team, I think that could work.
