DC Comics Launches New Cover Designs

It’s the end of an era, with DC Comics bringing to an end the “Rebirth” branding on their comic book covers.

Comic books released in December will feature the new look “DC Universe” corner box that incorporates the DC Comics logo, the issue number and price.

Also this is a better logo, the last one sucked.

Not bad. I like having the heroes symbol as part of the trade-dress.

As for the logo I’m glad we’re out of the days of the band-aid logo and while the current one is nice nothing beats the ’76 bullet. I’d even be fine if it was the bullet logo upright instead of angled.

Yes, I really love that bullet logo. But that’s because I grew with it. The current one is a renewed version of the 1972 one. Simple and clean. Adding the hero symbol they go back to the 90’s era when inside the symbol there were the month/year and continuity number.
