DC Announces “Dark Crisis: Young Justice” Comic Book Miniseries

Dark Crisis: Young Justice

Syfy.com has revealed that, on the heels of the upcoming “Dark Crisis” event, DC will be publishing a six-issue miniseries titled “Dark Crisis: Young Justice”.

With “Dark Crisis” taking place this June, DC’s young heroes will be faced with a crisis of their own in a story written by Meghan Fitzmartin (Batman: Urban Legends) with art by Laura Braga.

“Dark Crisis: Young Justice #1 is a reaction to the Dark Crisis story,” Fitzmartin told SYFY WIRE. “So it starts off…we understand where everyone is at, because we haven’t seen a lot of these characters in a while. And then full blown chaos happens.”

DC’s official solicitation for issue #1 reveals that it all begins at the Justice League’s funeral, where Superboy, Impulse, and Tim Drake turned up missing, triggering a search by Wonder Girl. But the boys are lost “on the world of their dreams, one they may never want to leave.”

“Dark Crisis: Young Justice #1” arrives June 21. Further details and preview pages are available at syfy.com.
