Wouldn’t it be cool if it’s suddenly revealed that Over-man (Superman’s Nazi dollpleganger is the one behind everything?
Yes and no. I say “no” because it would mean the only time we see Tyler as Superman is as his evil doppleganger which to me is a bit of a bum deal if you’re not letting actual Superman participate in the event.
I really don’t want to see another evil Superman. It’s been done before in the injustice story line and he also had memory problems that caused him to fight the Justice League in the most recent movie, and in last season of Supergirl when he was infected with silver kryptonite that caused him to attack Supergirl.I don’t like seeing my favorite superhero as the bad guy.If Tyler shows up, (and I hope he does),I hope he would be just superman and lend his cousin a hand. Maybe have a scene where superman faces off against the nazis that reflects the cover… Read more »
@Superman2878. Yeah, IMO Injustice just kind of serves the characters head on a silver platter to haters and the “Superman is a d**k” crowd.
In the context of the story though I could see where svillar13’s idea could work but again I would want the real deal present to balance it out. Generally speaking though like you, I don’t really care for the evil Superman idea.
I couldn’t have said it better myself Mattcomics.
I’m thinking that if Superman doesn’t show up for this crossover event, he might show up for the next one.
I just saw tonight’s crossover event, and it was amazing. I especially like the part when supergirl made the superman two reference to which she said to her evil twin,” General, care to step outside?”
Can’t miss with Superman II and Mr. Donner.
The Reeve/Donner Superman movie, and the Donner cut of Superman 2 are true classics. I never get tired of watching those great films.
I kinda wish they could make some sort of interactive Blu-Ray or DVD that would let you select footage from both Donner and Lester cuts and then play it as one film.
That would be a cool thing to see.
