Concept Art of Never-Used Kryptonian Costumes from “Supergirl”

Costume Designer and Concept Artist Greg Hops has shared a gallery of images of unused costume designs from Season 3 of “Supergirl”.

Created together with designer Amanda Riley, the costumes were designed for members of the Argo High Council, who Kara met when she and Mon-El discovered that Argo city had survived the destruction of Krypton.

I go back and forth about whether the S should be a Kryptonian symbol or just a cool S (I’ve seen stories where it works either way). But I like these.

I like the designs. There’s still a chance that we might see one or more of these suits in Supergirl since there’s still one more season left. And now that we are getting the new Superman and Lois series, we might still get another chance to see them use these suits. They might even use one these for a hologram Jor-el and Lara in the Superman and Lois series. I hope it happens for the new series.
