Superboy is days away from Krypton's end. Superman is months away from Krypton's end. Supergirl is hundreds of years back from Krypton's end. All three of the family are back in Krypton, Superboy with a startlingly different Kara Zor-El to the clone hater he met in his own time. The two teenagers meet The Eradicator. This glowing green corpse is the living embodiment of entropy and wants to ensure that Krypton and all of its children die along with the planet resting in final peace. When the corpse attacks Kara, Kon is barely able to shield her in time but the force of the blow renders her unconscious. Superboy realizes The Oracle designated him this mission specifically and he tries to defeat his foe with all his might. Supergirl is in the valley of Wartros, surrounded by a clone army of feral soldiers. Kara's solar powers are fading fast but if she doesn't stand her ground the clones will kill her. She instigates a fight with a burst of heat vision and tries to remember her training with Lara. Her mind wanders to learning techniques to turn a foes anger against them just like the time she had to earn her shield by battling her aunt in a challenge. In Kryptonopolis, Superman is locked in a fight with his own mother. Struggling with emotion at meeting his birth mother and having to complete his mission. Lara mistakes her son for a burglar and is quick to defend herself. Superman however is sick and this is also affecting his state of mind as he worries about altering his own future. Superman's suit alters itself from plain white to black and silver with the large crest of El across his chest. Lara is taken aback and does a medical scan with Jor's equipment. Superman has the very same radiation poisoning Kara had suffered from recently but has a huge amount of yellow solar energy stored within him. Lara is perplexed further and offers to help Superman as soon as her husband returns home. This worries Clark, if he meets his father, how can he bring himself to complete his mission? Back with Superboy, the battle continues, with the Eradicator swearing to assist Krypton in its death. Superboy resigns himself to the fact this might be his final battle, commenting to himself he will see the red sun rising. Then something clicks. He isn't Kryptonian, the red sun doesn't weaken him like it does natives - including the Eradicator. Kon uses his TTK to connect to Argo City's mechanical core and uses it to make the underground cabling into deadly spikes which impale Eradicator. Kara wakes up and sees Eradicator's corpse but as she rejoins Kon the quakes begin and Superboy realizes this is the beginning of Krypton's end. Kara from our time awakens, she blacked out after defeating the clone army. Bleeding, bruised and weak, Kara, realizes she finally completed Lara's teachings and survived completing her mission. Supergirl picks herself up and at that moment she realizes someone is sneaking up behind her. She realizes too late it is her former lover, H'El.

Jon stirs in the mental plane only to be attacked by a horde of monsters. A disembodied voice makes contact and mentally chides the teenager. The attacks intensify until he awakens in a medical facility. Cassie, Wonder Girl, is sitting at his bedside. Jon instinctively attacks her and while clutching her throat he burrows into her mind to discover what she knows of Kon-El, Harvest and himself. Cassie mistakes his disoriented attack as maladjustment and tries to reach out to whom she thinks is Kon. She explains it is the year 2933 and that the Teen Titans are with them. Jon can barely keep up, clearly weakened he decides to go along with their mistake and assume Kon's life until he is fully powered. As guards arrive, a severely weak Superboy collapses with his mysterious telepathic companion continually goading him. When he awakens Solstice, Raven, Red Robin and Wonder Girl are all present along with a doctor running tests. To avoid the equipment scanning him he destroys the equipment with TTK. Jon requests some time to rest so the Titans leave to release Kid Flash but Raven notices something isn't quite right much to Jon and the Voice's dismay. Seconds after Kon's friends leave he scans the building with TTK to discover where genetic tests on him are stored and quickly makes his way there. Jon uses new abilities on his way to the genetics lab and forces dizziness upon an interfering nurse, shattering security cameras from tracking him and using yet another power to make himself invisible to any people around him. Jon navigates past guards cockily coming face to face with the meta inside. The voice urges him to kill and brainwashing words from Harvest force his actions as the doctor begs for mercy. Jon quotes Harvest as he crushes the life out of the meta and is surprised to find he absorbs dead meta energy to become more powerful. Using the doctor's dead body he activates the genetic and historical archive and scans through it. He finds that Superman is indeed his father but that his mother's DNA cannot be identified. Jon decides to chart Superboy's history and achievements to discover that Kon is recorded as a huge force for good in the 21st century and would even go on to be a founding member of the greatest peacekeepers of the future... The Legion of Superheroes! Hearing this both Jon and his mystery guide share gleeful evil thoughts.

While Kid Flash faces trial, Superboy soars through the city of the future in the late 30th century. A voice rages inside Jon's head and he can't shut off the constant pestering. It refuses to allow him peace until he does what it demands. We then see Superboy free a meta named Schiz, trapped in a stasis tube. As Superboy crashes into the street he finds the voice is able to manipulate civilians and colony marshals and they attack on Schiz's behalf, who has since turned on her rescuer. Manipulating a street carnival Schiz draws them into the mix for 'murdertainment'. The attacks increase on the Teen of Steel until he lashes back with TTK and he stands alone with Schiz. When he tries to reason with her she tells him that he turned on his own kind. When Superboy was created he was the first, the prototype, but Superboy turned on his own kind in the present day and his actions condemned 111 metahuman children to a 'living death'. Using her psionic power Schiz forces Superboy to force a gun barrel down his throat but in the nick of time Raven materializes and whisks Jon away. Away from Schiz they reappear in the Scarlet Mountains on the far side of the planet. Raven tells him she knows he is Jon Kent, not Kon El and he lashes out threatening to kill her in a 'fatal accident' so she doesn't reveal his plot to kill the Titans. Superboy's angry attacks don't affect magic based Raven and she points out that if he wants to continue with his deception, controlling his anger it vital. A tired Superboy regains composure as Raven reveals that she won't allow him to harm the Titans while she needs them, as the two of them share a common goal - one that can only be completed once Superboy overcomes his feelings of hatred. Superboy flies back from the mountains and Raven gives him one last piece of advice - conclude his business with Schiz to discover the answers he needs. His mind wanders back to when he followed the voice's advice and freed Schiz from a laboratory. Schiz can read minds and absorb emotions but her powers overwhelmed her and she developed schizophrenia. He remembers the lab contents - five patients in tubes, one dead and one... Schiz. Upon being freed she created a telepathic bond to Jon but trying to escape her Superboy raced away. Schiz, now connected, followed Superboy and began bombarding his mind with messages. In the present Schiz is tracking Superboy, while in turn he is chasing Raven hoping to stop her revealing to the Titans that Kon El is dead. The three race to Echo Hospital where the Titans are hiding out and where Schiz was hidden in a stasis tube. Losing track of Raven Superboy is drawn to the lab but is blindsided by Schiz who is blocking his 'TK sense'. Superboy is ready this time - his TK is directly linked to his emotions but his Kryptonian powers are linked to his biology and he threatens to use his strength and speed to kill her. Schiz is frightened and warns him if he kills he'll violate his own oath. Schiz reveals she wasn't BORN a meta, she was genetically altered to be one. She repeats that because of his birth all other meta's came to be - Superboy IS a meta. She points out that in the present there are thousands of meta humans but as only one man he can't kill them all. She then makes a startling offer, she will forge an army of meta survivors from this time to aid in his fight. Here they were hunted, captured, experimented on and spent years trapped in stasis because of their meta origins - because Superboy is sensible and intelligent and Schiz is affected by emotions around her she is too and her offer to help Superboy is a genuine one. Watching from afar via her magic, Raven smiles, she was the voice that was goading Jon before (last issue) and she manipulated him into freeing Schiz and lead to these events being put in motion. Now a meta war looms and Raven smiles seeking praise from her father Trigon...

In 2014 Harvest is met by a new superhero, a young man named Pacer. The villain realizes that he is slowly being overwhelmed as the number of superheroes begin to grow. He breaks Pacer's neck and, walking away from the corpse, vows to find his 'son' Jon in the time stream and force him to help his cause. In the late 30th Century we rejoin Superboy and Schiz in the laboratory with the stasis tubes. Unknown to Schiz, Raven is manipulation her with magic by manipulating Superboy who in turn believes he is manipulating Schiz. Red Robin interrupts a meditating Raven and asks her to join the other Titans to visit Superboy in the medical facility. At that same time Schiz elaborates on the backstory of how man came to rely on its super community and how eventually they began to rule over man. Man refused to become subservient and instead began searching the stars to find aliens to enlist in their war. Mixing of alien and human DNA was a result of their hunt and the resulting children were like Schiz herself. The new metas proved incredibly powerful but Schiz for example proved to be so dangerously unstable that the project was 'put on ice' and the subjects were placed into stasis where they rest still. With Superboy helping, Volt and Lodestone are soon freed. With their plan to find and use new meta recruits in motion he instructs Schiz to find shelter and wait while he returns to hospital. He is able to get back to the hospital with only seconds to spare before the Titans arrive and he spins them a yarn about being on the mend and pretends to be worried about Bart's trial. Later that night Lodestone, Volt and Schiz join Superboy as they attack the Echo military base using Schiz's power to disguise their mental imprint. This makes them project a display of them as resistance fighters. Using a guise as helpers of Bar Torr's cause they infiltrate the headquarters to find their weapons cache. The teens succeed in killing the entire Echo force and steal their weapons to promptly teleport them to their cave hideout. They realize their actions here may well have caused a war between the superheroes and the metas. Superboy tells them that once the time stream is circumvented and repaired, the human race will realize that the only real heroes are standing up right now ready to fight for the cause of freedom.

Superboy sends the Titans back to the present and stays behind to ensure his plan is complete. Jon thinks back to the day he killed Aquaman. A time before he met Kon-El over a decade into the future. As his dreams grow, Kon appears along with a myriad of other Superboy copies from across space and time. They deliver some home truths and attack Jon sending him hurling into the time stream and knocking him into the present New York City where he landed after the trial of Kid Flash. He finds himself in a place with no oppression, and no Harvest manipulating his every thought and action. Harvest is the only one who knows how to stabilize his corrupt DNA so Superboy picks himself up from the street and soars skyward. He crashes onto a nearby rooftop. He is greeted by the Guardian and Superboy attempts to attack him. Guardian knocks back the attack and Jon is shocked that his ability to siphon metahuman energy isn't working. He realizes too late that Guardian is a human superhero. Jon dreams and remembers his childhood. Jon wakes screaming and find himself in a medical facility - STAR Labs Advanced Ideas Division. Jon is greeted by a team of scientists that have nursed him back to health: Michael - The Guardian, Niti, Peter, Aya and Dr. Harold Alexander Grey. A cautious Superboy questions Dr. Grey as to why he is offering to help, to which Grey nonchalantly replies that it is what A.I.D does and Superboy was obviously in need of help. Guardian and Niti escort him to his new room. For a second or two the Biosuit in the center of the room seems to house Kon's ghost. As Michael and Niti leave for the night, for the first time in years Jon prepares to have a relaxing sleep. He doesn't see however that Kon's ghost is indeed with him in the room and he is very unhappy.

Dr. Grey meets with a man named Josiah about Superboy. Armed guards collect a metallic sarcophagus containing a comatose mess of purple goop. Superboy/Jon in the meantime awakens in a shower. Surrounded by the STAR team, Jon discovers he collapsed after seeing Kon-El's ghost. The two guards bringing in the sarcophagus decide to have some fun, stupidly unaware it is the villain Parasite inside. Guardian suits up and gets ready to protect the laboratory, warning the team to get to safety. Niti begs Superboy to follow them but Superboy can't stay away. Jon watches in awe as Guardian, a human, lays his life on the line to protect them. As brave as he is Guardian is crushed under Parasite's hand so Jon races forward to help but weak and sweating Parasite laughs him off. Jon picks himself up and catches a glance of Kon-El. The reflection demands that he get up and do something and so Jon does, ready for an attack. Jon rescues Niti and a starving Parasite driven by hunger grabs Jon. The monster is taken aback that Jon has the same power he does - only more powerful. Where Parasite can mirror powers and manifest as globular mass, Jon is able to enhance his powers, strengthen himself and grow stronger from metahuman energy. To ensure Parasite is completely incapacitated, Jon rips his arms and legs off with his TTK but the rush of intense power, coupled with the Neutrino bath and the battery vest, have raised Jon's consciousness in the process. Suddenly Jon is able to theorize his own cure. Kon isn't dead, the ghost he kept seeing was Kon trying to make a telepathic connection but because Jon was so weak he couldn't break through. Jon and Kon-El meeting once more is the answer, if they can find one another they can heal each other.

Parasite is screaming threats of revenge after having his limbs torn off by Jon. The STAR team are cleaning up the mess while Superboy stands in silence as Parasite is packed back into storage. Jon breaks his silence by talking to the ghost of Kon-El and reveals to the team that Kon (or at least a version snatched from time) is being held captive in a N.O.W.H.E.R.E facility and the team minus Dr. Grey agree to help him reunite with his namesake. Niti kisses a mopey Jon and the kiss raises his spirits (perhaps from her own secret powers?) Regardless, the team are en route to Alaska where N.O.W.H.E.R.E are preparing for them after detecting the STAR aircraft approaching. From The Fridge, three of N.O.W.H.E.R.E's toughest soldiers are awoken from suspended animation. Leash, Hammersmith and Rose Wilson. As the STAR team head in to the facility they find the red lit corridors eerily empty with only Kon's telepathic messages guiding them lower and lower into the Alaskan base. The team are attacked by Rose and her soldiers and Superboy struggles to fight them off as they mistake him for an escaped Kon-El. Rose uses a sword to cut in to Jon's eye and he retaliates by sending her crashing through the facility walls. As Leash and Hammersmith attack Guardian and Niti, Superboy races forward and sends the soldier duo out of the base and hurtling skyward. Jon leaves the team to recuperate and races towards Kon's body in the lowest levels. Suddenly everything feels wrong and Jon realizes this Kon-El is wearing his suit from the future while Jon is in his biosuit. He reads his memory and sees Kon's last thoughts and finds that he is being made, against his will, to join with Kon-El. Despite trying to pull away they make a TTK connection and an explosion occurs. Back in New York Aya and Dr. Grey watch their instruments soar off the charts and try to figure out what Jon has done. Aya theorizes that some kind of temporal shell has surrounded The Fridge. A good theory as Jon and Kon have pulled Superboys from across the multiverse timelines to one place and almost in a hive mind they are all calling out... "What the hell?"

Leash and Hammersmith wake in the Alaskan snow having been thrown out of the N.O.W.H.E.R.E base. A Tachyon bubble now seals the base off from the world, Dr Grey points out the energy that has been causing Jon's illness is also tachyon based. As the STAR team race inside to help Jon they discover a room full of Superboys turning to face them. Elsewhere, Jon has manifested himself as an eight year old child with a mass of baggage on his shoulder. The place is a new universe, after he touched the Superboy in the stasis tube it turns out the massive surge of tachyon energy, which powers the New 52 universe couldn't cope with it and thrust Jon out into a completely new pocket universe for him alone. A puzzled childlike Jon is met by a wiser more content Kon-El. When Kon was killed during the "Return to Krypton" he was made into a herald for the Oracle [See Teen Titans final issue]. When Jon travelled back to the present his body began generating a massive amount of energy and that acted like a magnet to Kon and he was unknowingly absorbed by Kon's mind, trapped inside, manifesting as a phantom. That same energy drew him to the Jon in stasis, but the three of them are inside the one body - a mass of temporal tachyon energy but only one can survive. Back in the New 52 Universe the Superboys from alternate times and spaces are fighting one another, the now dual Superboy of good Kon and good Jon take charge and use their newly found universe-altering powers to merge their friends from all timelines into their ultimate manifestations. Peter becomes the ultimate technological man, The Guardian, the peak of his existence, Rose into the ultimate Ravager, Niti a powerful Green Lantern. The two soldiers that accompanied them are just about to receive the same merger when the evil Jon tutored by Harvest seizes control. The three bodies begin separating in an explosion of energy as the STAR team watch in horror. Dust settles and the team find an unconscious Jon and Kon in the rubble but some evil laughter fills the air and the evil Jon now reenergized, swears to kill them all.

The team of good guys, good Jon and Kon prepare to face off against Evil Jon and the mulitverse Superboy's that have been pulled into the N.O.W.H.E.R.E facility. Niti, the Green Lantern, grabs them all in a bubble, slams evil Jon into a wall and crashes the bubble deep into the depths of the facility to escape. With some breathing space they recap the timeline. In the New 52 timeline Jon did Harvest's bidding killing all the Metahumans but became mortally ill. Harvest brought evil Jon back to the present in a hope to cure him, that failed so he created Kon the clone. When Kon travelled to the future with the Teen Titans he encountered Jon just before his trip toe present. During the fight however they switched bodies. Evil Jon masqueraded as Kon, after Kon died fighting H'El and was transformed into a herald for Oracle. Jon returns to the present where he mentally pulls Kon through space and into his body. When he is found by STAR Labs and nurtured to health he is drawn to the evil Jon and when the three meet they merged into a Superboy tachyon being. The universe pushed them into a pocket universe to prevent itself from imploding and brought them to where they are now. At that moment Evil Jon realizes he can control all his other selves and forces them to attack the team uncovering their hiding place. One by one the team are killed or beaten to a pulp. A battle ensues amongst the survivors and Kon also takes control of several Superboy's to join the battle. With Kon leading a distraction the two Jon's face off in a final fight. The two Jon's smash through the facility exploding in a psy blast that makes the sky turn red. Good Jon repaired time, forcing all the multiverse Superboy's to return to the exact instant they were stolen. Jon still existed and so did his history even if he was no longer 'alive'. The pocket universe reintegrated with the New 52 universe and the STAR team were now alive and well - almost as if nothing happened as Kon-El was back, alive and well.

Kid Flash and Solstice stand at the ready for a battle against many armed soldiers. Rain, the man that is leading the soldiers, teases Kid Flash and calls him "Sir". They seem to know each other. Kid Flash suddenly grabs his throat. Rain explains that they made Kid Flash breathe in a synthetic accelerant, which is turning into a solid polymer, essentially using his own respiratory system against him. At the sight of Kid Flash being defeated and almost losing his life, Solstice comes to his rescue. Meanwhile not too far away, Robin, Wonder Girl, Raven and an unconscious Superboy (secretly Jon Lane Kent) materialize from Raven's soul self, into this time. They all see Solstice's power discharge in the distance, and make their way toward it. Kid Flash sees Solstice under attack and repeatedly punches the soldier who attacked her, nearly killing him. He is stopped by the rest of the Teen Titans. Kid Flash is stunned at the sight of his blood soaked hands. Two ships appear over head, ordering everybody to stand down. Kid Flash falls unconscious, and Robin orders the team to surrender. A green-skinned woman with blonde hair teleports down from the ship, introducing herself as Brain 3, Field Commander of Echo. Sometime later, Robin explains that he feels way out of his depth, and that at least these people are not trying to kill Kid Flash and that Superboy really needed medical help. Kid Flash, held captive, thinks he is ready to learn the truth about his past. Solstice assures him that she will get him out. Brain 3, Robin and Raven enter the room, they cheer up Solstice by telling her that they don't intend to leave Kid Flash behind. Brain 3 is told by her team that the Holoprog machine is ready. It will sort out all the false memories that are in Kid Flash's head and reveal the true ones. They all watch on screen and are shocked at the horrible sight of Kid Flash reveling in bloodshed, whilst wearing a green and gold costume similar to the one he has now. Raven interjects, saying that she feels a great deal of emotional pain coming from Wonder Girl, Robin assures her that Wonder Girl can take care of herself. Our story ends with Wonder Girl being held up by her throat by the young man she believes is Superboy, but in reality is Jon Lane Kent, the future son of Superman and Lois Lane.

Kid Flash is hooked into a machine that is exposing hidden memories of his past while his Teen Titan team mates watch on mesmerized by the web of lies. We view Altros Prime, a planet in a far off galaxy. The Functionary 'government' ruled over Altros and used thugs known as Purifiers to maintain control by killing off the rebel society of people called Creationers. Amongst them were the Torr family. A mother, father, Bar and baby sister Shira lived in the rebel community. A terrified Bar watched as his parents and neighbors were murdered for their religious beliefs and made a run for it to live in the shadows with his sister. Bar turned to crimes of all magnitude to live and protect his sister as they grew up, but a time came when he could no longer care for his sister and he had to leave her in the care of a church. As the Purifiers grew stronger and moved across the galaxy, trafficking contraband, Bar also found himself traveling until he found the Purifier base, a bar, filled with scumbags he loathed. Too young to kill them all now, he joined their ranks as a pilot. The skiff they sent their new mule on was pathetically shielded from radiation and had the most minimal of functions, its purpose was to transport goods, the pilot was expendable. Bar did countless criminal shipments until one day the skiff malfunctioned and crashed. Bar should have died but due to repeated radiation exposure or perhaps a latent meta gene, Bar gained super speed and the final piece in his plot for revenge. The Purists came to collect the skiff's cargo after a month missing and Bar took the opportunity to kill the crew and return to base. The bar at super-speed is evacuated of non Purists and then using their own gunship the vengeful teen destroys the base and all the Purists inside. Bar then enlisted all the creationaries and civilians into a rebellion to destroy the Functionary. The rebellion slowly destroyed the Functionary one planet at a time until the war took them back to Altros Prime. During a fateful battle a young woman was almost killed by Bar's own rebellion but when Bar realized the young girl was his own sister Shira, now grown up, he chose to turn himself in for his crimes. Turning on his own rebellion army placed Bar in mortal danger and the authorities placed him into witness protection for his aid in shutting them down. The witness protection program placed him out of time and space to hide him. He lost his identity as Bar Torr and became Bart Allen, Kid Flash and though his memories were wiped and his personality altered he could never shake the feeling he had to do good to make up for something. As the video screen Bart is hooked up to fades out he begs his Titan team mates to think of all the good he has done as Bart and how much he has changed since he was Bar. The team however are more than a little uneasy...

Solstice is taking a breather after hearing Bar Torr/Kid Flash's story, with depression setting in quickly. She explains to Red Robin about discovering her powers and how she too did things she regrets like Bar as she grew up, including serving under Harvest during The Culling and how she views her powers as a curse now. Thoughts are interrupted as huge crowds of space craft from across the galaxy arrive to witness the trial. Inside the holding cell Wonder Girl tries reaching out to her former friend but Kid Flash keeps switching personalities and warns her that a war is coming. Superboy meanwhile is struggling to hide his intentions to kill the Titans and is even more perplexed that with their combined might they don't just break Kid Flash from jail and escape. Raven arrives to halt his questions as does Brain 3 who tells the teenagers the trial is about to begin. Because his DNA is rejecting itself Superboy is dying so he mustn't waste any time. Below in the courtroom Wonder Girl, Raven, Red Robin and Solstice try to keep the Functionary and Rebellion apart. Bar Torr (Kid Flash) traps Wonder Girl in her own lasso, but luckily her silent armor prevents her death. Solstice aids Cassie and blasts Bar to the floor, demanding that he act like a Titan. She also reveals to him that he isn't faster than light, and she of course is pure light. At the same time Red Robin and Brain 3 are fighting back the two sides. Brain 3 tries her best to make Tim realize that Bart Allen never existed no matter how much they want it not to be true. Superboy soars in, grabs Bar and takes him into space. Jon demands that Bar end the fighting, trying to reach out to the boy Kon El once knew. Bar won't back down but even he is shocked at the arrival of a Starslayer. This ship is the biggest and deadliest in the Functionary armada and appearing in front of them is Shira, Bar's baby sister now a fully fledged soldier. Bar is shaken and it takes a lot of talking down from Shira to help him see the light and let go of this pointless battle. The next day however when court reconvenes, even with Shira speaking on his behalf begging for mercy, the speedster is sentenced to life sentence in hard labour on Tekron Galtos. The Titans are horrified but see a glimpse of their old friend in Bar who begs them to back down and let him answer for his crimes. Reluctantly the Titans agree to let justice be served and prepare to return to their own time. Solstice cries out and begs to join Bar on Tekron Galtos. The Council shrug it off as she has not committed a crime. Solstice begs again and tells Bar she knew no life except the Culling before she met him and she refuses to live without him. To ensure she too shares Bar's fate she kills one of the Council judges.

The organization with no name had sworn to take the Titans down but as Skitter has chosen to stay with them she will afford them some breathing space. As the organization disappears Raven demands to know the truth and so Skitter reveals her time away. Skitter was a top student that became an intern at STAR and during a night of boredom created a device that could communicate across dimensions. Red Robin points out that today was the worst time to return as the team is all but disbanding. Cue another surprise attack, this time from Grymm. The villain has secretly planted a bomb but hearing that they were quitting he is disappointed. An over eager Beast Boy knocks him out, not realizing he was about to share the bomb location. Raven uses her powers and discovers too late that the bomb is aboard the yacht and it promptly explodes. At that moment in the future Solstice and Kid Flash have crash landed on Takron Galtos and are free from their cells. A fellow criminal attacks Solstice but Kid Flash steps in to save her. Bar Torr swears to tame the planet's lost souls and give them hope in the name if the Titans./A week before the explosion, Bunker and Beast Boy are heading to Miguel's home after striking up a new friendship. While Bunker gets frisky with his partner, Garfield tries his luck with Miguel's sister. Days later, the town celebrating, Garfield feels lonely not having any friends, love or home but Miguel shrugs it off and points out that his family and friends are now that of Beast Boy's too. At this moment a scarecrow like monster named Brutale arrives. His mission is to capture Gabe now he has woken up and return him to a mystery employer who wants his talents. Bunker leaps in and foils the attack to save his boyfriend. Brutale laughs that metas are dating each other but realizes he can still escape and takes a girl hostage. Unluckily for Brutale it is Miguel's sister and Beast Boy, as a rhino, attacks. Mirroring his stupidity in the previous story he knocks out Brutale before he can reveal who sent him but Gabe uses his psionic power to grab some mental images. They track down the lady boss' hideout but because of Brutale's capture she has fled while Gabe, Miguel and Garfield beat up the remaining forces there, they hear a news bulletin detailing the events of Forever Evil #1.
