    Morgan Edge has hired Simyan & Mokkari to try and create a team of Super Humanoids. Their 1st attempt kidnaps Jimmy but Superman saves him, although at the cost of letting the villain escape.

    A being made of lightning seems to be attacking the computers of LexCorp, STAR Labs, and Cadmus in search of information which all seems to tie up with Lex and his Kryptonite experiments.

    Superman destroys part of the LexCorp building when he discovers Lex is creating synthetic Kryptonite there and the SCU try to bring him to justice, while the JLA decide that Superman must be stopped.

    The JLA battle the Superman Robots. Superman rids the world of all nuclear weapons. Lois discovers the Fortress has grown above ground. JLA bring the fight to the Fortress... all because of Dominus.

    As the UN fires upon the Fortress, Lois confronts Superman within. When they kiss, the spell Dominus has had over him is broken, and finally he realizes the folly of his ways, which makes Dominus angry!

    Superman returns from the Phantom Zone & knocks out Dominus long enough to get help from Prof. Hamilton. Dominus & Superman face off, but who survives when the Superman Robots intervene?

    Dominus disguised as Superman, convinces the world to hunt down Dominus as a means of uncovering Kismet's hiding place. Superman escapes his imprisonment and sends Dominus to the Phantom Zone.

    Metropolis no longer trusts Superman, and he has to deal with their remarks and attitudes. As Clark, he gains insight as he listens to the story of a soldier injured by him while under Dominus' control.

    In an attempt to win back public support, Superman agrees to a WLEX Live TV Interview with Lois, but Lois works out that Lex has a plan to make Superman look bad, and together they work it out.

    This is part of the "No Man's Land" storyline. Superman goes into Gotham City to help people, but Batman doesn't want his help.

    Superman saves a little girl from a collapsed building, and later on as Clark gets a verbal serving from a Taxi driver & imagines to himself how bad it would have been if he had been King of the World.

    The Superman Robot programmed to protect Lois comes online and whisks her away. Superman gets help from what's left of Kelex and a phantom copy of his Fortress to change the robot's programming.

    Superman tells Lois about his rough day working out who was behind a Toy companies failed promotion, and how he attempts to rehabilitate the Toyman.

    Riot escapes and sets about creating chaos at STAR Labs which sees the SCU recruiting 4 meta-humans to their ranks, while Superman is off saving people from a hurricane on the other side of the world.

  • [29] Superman The Man of Tomorrow #14 (August - Summer)
    Louise Simonson, Paul Ryan, Dennis Janke
    Riot steals a device from LexCorp while setting a diversion by attacking a LexCom party. Lois gets the background story from Riot's uncle (!) which finds Superman stopping the Meta-SCU from capturing Riot.

    An aging villain called Diode sets his sights on a comeback by attacking Superman, while a gang of vicious villains leave a murderous trail behind them. Can Diode go out with dignity?

    A man is convinced that Superman is the head of a conspiracy to steal his idea for a new board game which will help give people skills to fight off Superman's planned alien invasion of earth.

    Kal-el is rocketed to Oa and grows up under the supervision of the Guardians of the Universe to be the ultimate Green Lantern! What's going on here? And who has abducted Superman?

    Another alternate reality is tested where Kal-el's rocket has landed on the planet Raan. Kal-el is the over-protective sentry of Raan but comes in contact with an earthman called Adam Strange who helps him realise the error of his ways.

    Cognito runs another simulation into Superman's dying brain, learning what could have happened if Kal-el's rocket had landed on Thanagar. J'onn, Green Lantern, Flash and Steel are captured by Cognito.

    J'onn telepathically contacts Superman, they merge their minds together and break out of the virtual reality Cogito had them trapped in. When the truth is revealed, Superman decides to help Cogito.

    Teleported to a strange planet, Superman finds he's one of a group of four who have been gathered together in the hope that together they can save this world from invaders... but it's all just a set up.

    A movie which is (very) loosely based on the Atomic Skull's life is being made in Metropolis, but Joe Martin (the real Atomic Skull) is portrayed as a killer. Together with Superman he sets the story straight.

    With Fingers captured by Superman, Boss Moxie is desperate to get rid of Superman, and hires Frank Sixty to do the job using a giant Lobster-robot that he has created, but the tables are turned on Moxie.

    Two children befriend a sea beast and introduce it to their father who uses the creature to steal jewelry. Lois and Clark investigate the robberies, and Superman confronts the misled beast and the kid's dad.

    Rand and Ron Frenz, Ron Frenz, Sal Buscema
    An airplane is saved by a glowing angel, and so starts a series of sightings of the "Strange Visitor" a woman wearing Superman's old energy costume. Superman finally catches up with her at Professor Hamilton's place.

    Rand and Ron Frenz, Ron Frenz, Sal Buscema
    While trying to work out just who Strange Visitor really is, Superman and the new hero take on a super strong villain called War who has kidnapped his son from the mother.

  • Notable Issue: Day of Judgment #1 (November)
    Geoff Johns, Matt Smith, Steve Mitchell
    Asmodel gets control of the Spectre, and together with Etrigan manages to overthrow Neron and brings Hell to earth. The JLA and other heroes are powerless against the might of demon hoard.

    Rand and Ron Frenz, Ron Frenz, Sal Buscema
    Strange Visitor is confronted by her fiancé and becomes upset and her powers go out of control. Superman captures her and takes her to STAR Labs where they use the Parasite to siphon off her excess powers.

    Earth's heroes split up into three teams, one goes to heaven to find a spirit to occupy the Spectre, another goes to hell to try and reignite hell's fires, while the third remains on earth fighting the demons.

    Superman and Strange Visitor try to battle the extremely powerful Parasite who has tapped into the earth's electromagnetic field. Will Strange Visitor have to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the day?

    Final issue
    As part of the "Day of Judgment" saga, Superman is put through hell (literally) by Neron, who tries to persuade Superman into creating his own "perfect" world... one without Lois.

    Jeph Loeb, Mike McKone, Marlo Alquiza The Daily Planet is back! Questions and rumors abound about why Luthor sold back the Planet. The son of Mongul crash lands in Metropolis, and Lois has a huge secret she's keeping from Clark.

  • [47] The Adventures of Superman #573 (December)
    Stuart Immonen and Mark Millar, Steve Epting, Denis Rodier
    Mr Odetts looks certain to lose his house to Lexcorp's development plans until Superman gains public support to list the house as Nationally Historic. Lex introduces his female bodyguards, Mercy and Hope.

    Superman and Lois head for the ruins of the Fortress where strange disturbances have alerted the Super-Robot on guard. It appears as if the Eradicator's original programming is trying to assert itself again.

    A beautiful woman by the name of La Encantadora is selling off fake kryptonite to small-time villains who try to use it against Superman. Superman finally catches her after an around the world chase.

    Clark tries a new, human approach to helping out in "No Man's Land".
