    I - Milton Fine is at Lovelace Psychiatric Hospital near Gotham being treated by Dr. Guiness; learning Chas Cassidy believes he's Superman, Brainiac takes control over Fine again; Brainiac uses an illusion to attract Superman to Lovelace, where Brainiac takes over Superman and transfers Superman's mind to Cassidy's body; Brainiac finds he cannot use his mental powers while in Superman's body; First Chas Cassidy.

    Parasite causes a power outage at S.T.A.R. in Queensland Park; Dr. Faulkner and Dr. Thompson find research monsters have escaped; Ron phones Lois to tipoff about the monsters, but Perry assigns Clark; Superman rescues Lucy Lane from a giant apelike monster; Lori tells Lois what locale the monsters are escaping from; Lucy punches Jimmy for filming her rescue; Burton Thompson dressed in warrior garb tells Superman he'll catch the monsters. "Watch This Space" column remembers Jerry Siegel.

    Loophole captured again; Dana gets Jimmy's signal watch and shows she now has powers from stolen magic coins (from Adventures of Superman #533); Sam Lane blames Clark for Lois leaving; Perry tells Clark he has cancer and wants Clark as acting managing editor; Superman slags the signal watch used by Dana who calls herself Superwoman and is obsessed with Superman; Dana accidentally causes a fire on an oil tanker, helps Superman save crew, apparently killed stopping the fire; Jimmy dubs Dana: Obsession; Lori talks with Clark.

The Bottle City

Tolos arrives in Metropolis and tries to capture Superman using aliens from the Bottle City of Kandor.

    Part 1 - Perry tells Clark he hasn't told Alice and Keith about his cancer; Lois has technical problems in Nairobi; Superman fights a series of disappearing aliens, including a Tribunal Judge and Volcana from Apokolips, before finding they are Tolos with the Bottle City.

This listing is done in the order for when a comic book issue was published.

Note: Remember, the month dates are from the issue covers, not the actual date when the comic was on sale.
