Two Supermen from two different parallel Earths fought alongside General Zod's rebels to tear down Vandal Savage's totalitarian regime. Zod, Doomsday and Metallo are considered the worst mankind has to offer on our Man of Steel's world. Yet, these versions show him that they can be the best. They prove they have what it takes to defeat Savage's army and Brainiac Prime. Zod, like the two Supermen by his side, became an inspiration of hope for his people even after his death at the hands of an aging Vandal Savage. Now, Savage must stand trial to honor the memory of General Zod while the Supermen and the Justice Alliance find Wonder Woman. With her help they may stop the chaos that is threatening various dimensions.

The Supermen have found a version of J'onn J'onzz in Vandal Savage's stronghold. He has communicated mentally with our J'onn to inform him of the multiversal crisis and its source. The Justice League and Justice Alliance have voyaged there only to find that it is on the verse of utter destruction.

5Story - 5: How has this not been made into a new animated series? Every issue, including this one, feels like it was meant to be broadcast instead of put on a comic page. Not that it doesn't merit being a a comic, it does. I'm merely stating that DeMatteis and Tucker have crafted something that transcends media in a very seamless and entertaining manner.

5Art - 5: The art compliments the story in such a way that you forget you're reading a comic. It sincerely feels like a new or lost episode of JLU. I'll even go as far as to say this entire series makes for a perfect new season of that program.

5Cover Art - 5: While the style is different from what I expected at first, I did like this cover a bunch.
