As Lobo looks for someone impersonating him, Supergirl returns to Doctor Shay Veritas at the Block located in the Earth's core. What she finds are doubles of Veritas who are colleagues disguised as her to the point of even having her DNA. Kara recounts the events of previous issues to Veritas when the Alien Rhialla, who hired Lobo, warns the scientist of the Last Czarnian's arrival. He'll be surprised when the Maid of Might introduces herself.

To protect Doctor Veritas from Lobo, Supergirl fights the Czarnian mercenary when talking and Lobo's Flash-Resin fail. Each matches the other in raw strength, but Kara Zor-El proves to be the shocked victor as Lobo has a broken neck. Now Supergirl believes she has killed Lobo.

5Story - 5: It's a simple slug fest of a story with nuggets of plot peppered into it. Yet, it's well done. Normally, the transition to a new writer on a series takes me some time - say between three and six issues. However, Tony Bedard has hooked me in from the first page with a fast paced and fun story. Keep Bedard on this title for a long time, DC Comics.

5Art - 5: I haven't had a chance to read many other books Yildiray Cinar's worked on yet. His style works perfectly for Supergirl. I'll have to dig out some his other New 52 work from my collection. Cinar is one of the best artists DC has right now.

5Cover Art - 5: This cover is everything it should be. It looked great and made me curious for the contents inside. I sincerely hope we get more like this from DC and its competition.
