Chapter 9: The Riddles of the Codex
Clark and Lois decided to pursue the Enigma Codex, the tome of infinite wisdom that could potentially unravel the secrets of the interdimensional threat. They were transported to a dimension known for its treacherous riddles and puzzles.
As they arrived in this new realm, they found themselves in a sprawling, mystical library. Ancient tomes and scrolls filled every shelf, and the air was thick with an aura of intellect and mystery. The atmosphere was heavy with the anticipation of the challenges that lay ahead.
A guardian of the library, a figure composed of living books and scrolls, emerged to greet them. “Welcome, seekers of the Enigma Codex. To obtain the knowledge you seek, you must answer a series of riddles and puzzles that will test your intellect.”
The first challenge presented to them was a riddle, inscribed on a massive, glowing tome:
“I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?”
Clark and Lois exchanged a glance, pondering the riddle. They knew they had to choose their answer carefully.
