I have two favorite Brainiac designs. The first being the robotic look that started in the 80’s. Would love to see that one on film! The second is his design from STAS which for me is the best modern take on his classic design that I have seen. ..and even though I complain about seeing comic book character designs reduced to dudes in jackets all the time the basic idea that Smallville had of having Brainiac as being like a smarter and deadlier T1000 was actually pretty cool and James Marsden played it well. I also liked the Smallville version of Brainiac. The Krypton version I’m going to have wait and see before I decide if I like it or not. So far he kind of reminds me of the injustice 2 Brainiac. I really liked the metallic purple design of brainiac from the ending of the superman doomsday war story arc from the early 2000’s. Brainiac from Superman the animated series I thought looked cool as well. I remember reading a comic where brainiac had a huge green head, black suit, purple cape, and a goatee.
