August 29, 2016: Official “Supergirl” Season 2 Promo Poster

160829-Season2The CW has released their official promo image for Season 2 of “Supergirl”.

In Season Two, Kara has left the safety of being Cat Grant’s assistant in order to figure out what she really wants to do, while as Supergirl she continues to work at the DEO, protecting the citizens of National City and searching for Jeremiah and Cadmus. Along the way, she will team up with Superman to battle new villains, as she strives to balance her personal life with her life as a superhero.

The second season of “Supergirl” will premiere on Monday, October 10 at 8:00pm on The CW.

Looks really good, but why does everything nowadays must have have lens flare?

doomsday745, I only noticed the lens flare because you mentioned. I’ve been so desensitized to lens flares after watching the two prior Star Trek movies. The third one did not have nearly as many. 🙂 Besides, the promo pictures for Superman, in Batman v Superman, were him with a dark background, and I think rain as well. Here, we have clouds in the background and the sunlight peaking through and shining on her. I’ll take this, with her serious expression, but I also see Supergirl as a ray of hope in this picture. Yea, they do show up a lot in Star Trek, but not as many in the third installment since J.J. didn’t direct that one. Henry in a similar pic like this one would look rad.

Since they have been running back to back episodes on Monday nights I have been watching them again. I must say CBS really did a great job on the effects. Some of the flying stuff was done really really well. I will look forward to see if the CW can come close to the effort that CBS put into it.
