Ali Adler Steps Down as Co-Showrunner of “Supergirl”

Deadline.com reports that Ali Adler, co-creator of the “Supergirl” TV series, has stepped down as co-showrunner of the series for Season 3. Adler will remain as an executive consultant on The CW series.

The move sees the promotion of producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner to co-showrunners alongside co-creator Andrew Kreisberg.

Both Queller and Rovner joined the Warner Bros. TV-produced Supergirl midway through the first season as co-executive producer and consulting producer, respectively. Rovner was elevated to executive producer at the beginning of Season 2. Queller is now also being promoted to executive producer, joining fellow exec producers Kreisberg, Greg Berlanti, Rovner and Sarah Schechter.

“Supergirl” Season 3 premieres on The CW on Monday, October 9, 2017.

Hmm, I wonder if this’ll make the show watchable.

I just watched an episode this morning. Can confirm it’s watchable. Maybe check your proxy settings?

Eh, too much cringe-worthy dialog and poor plotting. They should just rename the show “The Adventures of Alex Danvers” and be done with it.
