Adam Rayner Cast as Morgan Edge for “Superman and Lois”

The CW has cast Adam Rayner in the role of Morgan Edge for the “Superman & Lois” TV series.

Described as “an intelligent, eloquent and impassioned self-made mogul whose innate ability to motivate is the means to his success and others’ demise,” Edge is a character well known to comic book fans, with the powerful and self-centered media mogul usually seen to be the owner of the Daily Planet.

Interestingly, Edge has already been seen on The CW’s “Supergirl,” played by Adrian Pasdar, who was a former corrupt CEO of Edge Global and the former top real estate mogul of National City. With a new actor and character description for this Morgan Edge, it will likely be explained that the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover is the reason behind the change.

Rayner has starred in Mistresses, At Home with the Braithwaites and Making Waves.

Starring Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch in the title roles, the “Superman & Lois” TV series will premiere on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 on The CW.
