A Superman Fan’s Visit to Cleveland

Superman fan Douglas Meacham took a trip to Cleveland, Ohio earlier this month to visit the birthplace of the Man of Steel.

Doug took an amazing number of photos to catalog his trip to celebrate Superman’s 80th anniversary. He explains, “I visited the massive Superman exhibit at the public library and the neighborhood of Glenville where creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster first conceived the idea of the world’s first superhero.”

A selection of his photos are shown here, but you can check out the entire selection at our Superman Homepage Facebook Group. Be sure to zoom in on the placards for some information on the memorabilia.
