The Superman Homepage Indicator of Excellence in Literature and Design Awards

The voting booth for our 18th annual awards ceremony for the world of Superman has closed!

Voting began on November 14, 2018 and ended at 11.59pm EST on December 14, 2018.

The 2018 SHIELD Awards gave you, the fans, the opportunity to voice your opinions about comics with a 2018 cover date, Superman related Movies, TV shows, and Superman merchandise released in 2018.

Everyone who voted in the 2018 SHIELD Awards automatically went into the draw for a chance to win one of five 2019 Vintage Superman Calendars, thanks to Asgard Press.

The five winners are: Elliot Cuadrado, Henry Kwong, Kristopher Lehman-Brown, Kyle Schwingendorf, and Anthony Jacobs.

Congratulations! Your 2019 Vintage Superman Calendar will be sent to you shortly.

The results have been forwarded on to DC Comics, Warner Bros., The CW, Syfy, and the various winners. Congratulations to those creative people involved!

With only two main Superman titles once again this year, “Action Comics” retains the ‘Best Regular Superman Title’ mantle, but “Superman” has edged closer.

With over half the votes in this category, the adventures of young Jon Kent and his “friend” Robin was a clear winner once again in this category.

With “Krypton” joining the SHIELD Awards for the first time in 2018, it was the first season’s final episode that voted most popular amongst fans. Sad to see that so many didn’t watch this awesome series.
