Young Justice: Episode Reviews

Season 1 - Episode 21: "Image"

5Rating - 5 (out of 5): I know I've harped on the show not tying up loose ends or doing anything with the overall plot (The Light), but I loved this episode! One of the minor arcs is that the team has a mole amongst them and I have argued for some time that M'Gann was the one and I think this episode adds some credence to that. One of my billion conspiracy theories turns out to be correct!

I loved Marina Sirtis as Queen Bee in this episode. Great job. And I hope to hear more of her and Queen Bee on this show.

I suppose the thing I loved about this was how freaking awesome it was to see M'Gann in her true form! The artist's rendering of her White Martian form was done well and they did a fantastic job showing her fully-powered self while on some plane of existence where minds can share a dream... wait a minute. Was this Inception? Were they only one level down? Where was Saito?

Alan Tudyk as Psimon was brilliant. So much so that you can't even tell it's him. Or that he did Green Arrow, too! I just had such a nerdy little moment there. We have Star Trek: The Next Generation and Firefly actors on the same show? Can life get better? I submit that it cannot! If you caught that last line I tip my hat to you madam/sir.

I'm really stoked to see where M'Gann's story goes from here. Is she sabotaging the team willfully or is she being influenced? I don't know, but I'm excited to see where this plot goes. This is one of the few major plots that I would like to see developed further.
