He was a super man both on the big screen and in real life. His birthday is also a special day to Superman fans worldwide. We love you Chris and you’ll live on in our hearts and in our minds.
Words are kind of an inadequate medium for expressing just how grateful I am to Christopher Reeve for being such a huge part of my childhood. When Lois asks Superman who he is, he says “A friend.” In a way Christopher’s Superman was a friend to me that got me through some of the rougher times I had growing up. Christopher Reeves will always be my favorite actor to play Superman, growing up watching all for Superman films, Somewhere in time, Smallville and many more of his film. It’s sad that he and his wife Dana aren’t around anymore. It would’ve been interesting to hear what he would’ve thought of Superman Returns, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and the up coming Justice League.

RIP Christopher Reeve. The one and only true Superman of all time. The only actor that I’ve felt he just came out of an actual Superman comic book. He’s the standard bearer that every actor will have to measure up to.
Christopher Reeve is a man who inspired me to want to be a better person. His portrayal of Superman is fantastic, and it’s because of his version of Superman that I became really interested in superheroes.
He will always be “A Friend”.
His way to see life ist absolutely inspiring.
