September 12, 2016: “Justice League” Movie Filming in Iceland

icelandWhile “Justice League” has been filming in London for some time now, we now know that production will also take place in Iceland over the next two months.

Zack Snyder and crew will take up residents in the Westfjords of Iceland in October and November, in a village called Djúpavík, a village with only two permanent inhabitants, although the population does grow during the summer months.

One of the co-owners of Hótel Djúpavík is expecting a crew of at least 200. He also says that during the shooting of the movie, Hótel Djúpavík is being rented to the movie makers and also there will be a cruise ship in the fjord for the actors and staff to live in.
