President Trump Reimagined as President Luthor

On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the other night, host Jimmy Kimmel spoke about President Donald Trump’s interview with David Muir of ABC News, saying that quotes from the interview evoked a very Lex Luthor feel.

“I know people have been saying Trump sounds like a supervillain sometimes,” he explained, “but last night he sounded so much like a supervillain, we took his words, and we matched them up with a video from the ‘Justice League’ cartoon. Here’s what happens when the Man of Steel meets the President of Gold.”

The scene used in the above video is from the 2003 episode of the “Justice League” animated series titled “A Better World”, in which Lex Luthor of an alternate earth is elected president of the United States of America.

I don’t like politics and superheroes, but that was funny.

I like this…a lot. In another life, Trump could probably be Lex Luthor. Well, the Gene Hackman version, anyway…

Trump may have the fortune but not the intellect for Lex. He’s more like Glorious Godfrey if Legends had ended very differently and very horribly.

I was expecting to see the part where Superman kills Lex too.

It’s as though this is just some not-so-subtle anti-Trump media…

I thought that was the only kind of media about Trump.

Hah! Too true. Nonetheless, the video was still funny.

Wow, downvoted, and I didn’t even say anything negative about Trump. I just pointed out how the media always portrays him negatively.
Talk about touchy.

It’s as though this guy is a narrccistic tyrant who promotes bigotry and xenophobia under the pretense of patriotism who presents a clear and present danger to civil rights here and potentially the life of every human being on the planet.

Nothing I haven’t heard before. Let’s not get into a political debate on a Superman-Fandom website. Not the way I roll. 🙂

Fine. But consider for even a second how Superman would feel about the kind of hate filled rhetoric your boy has used to fuel his campaign and brought into the highest office of the land. That maybe he’s not so much the victim of the mean ol media and there’s more to this than just people you can write off as sore losers.

Already did. It’s hard not to consider things like that, especially when it’s Donald Trump we’re talking about. 🙂 I still take what he says with a grain of salt. I have already come to my conclusion, and it’s pretty clear that you have come to yours. And the video was still funny – reminds me of the “Bad Lip Reading” videos.
