UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
SUPERMAN: ESCAPE FROM KRYPTONSix Flags "Magic Mountain" Los Angeles.
Reopened: March 2011 (original coaster opened in March 1997)
Special Features: Escaping at super speeds has never been so much fun. Your escape starts in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, where newly-designed sleeker cars carry you backwards, then accelerate to 100 mph in seven seconds before shooting straight up a 41-story tower.
Unlike traditional coasters, SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton will blast riders at 100 mph backwards on a dual track that spans 900 feet and looms 415 feet in the air, forming a gigantic "L" shaped superstructure. Riders will hang face first with a birds-eye-view of the entire Santa Clarita Valley before plummeting back down to earth.

LEX LUTHOR - DROP OF DOOM
Six Flags "Magic Mountain" Los Angeles
Sit inside a floorless gondola on one of two vertical tracks flanking each side of the SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton tower. You'll be pulled to the top of the 400 foot tower, experience a brief pause then drop at speeds of up to 85 mph. After the five second freefall, you'll be stopped by a sophisticated magnetic braking system just a few feet from the ground.

BIZARRO
Six Flags "New England" Springfield, MA.
This newly transformed coaster takes it to another dimension with fog and fiery flame effects timed perfectly with heart-pumping audio for an unforgettable ride.
Known for his clumsy and destructive attempts to emulate Superman, everything in Bizarro's world is twisted and backwards. The Bizarro experience begins the moment you enter the ride queue line through a custom-created comic book story. Climb aboard the newly-designed coaster cars with custom built audio in the headrest. After a menacing climb, plunge 221 feet into the first of two fog-filled tunnels to launch into Bizarro's twisted world.
Fly 77 mph through high bank twists and turns, soaring through bizarre building structures and sprinting through open-aired Bizarro "S" shields. Then, enter a spaghetti bowl of twists and turns that trigger fiery flame effects with the heart-pumping audio. Cap off the journey with a second plunge into a fog-filled tunnel before returning to the station house and back to Earth.

On the new Virtual Reality Roller Coaster experience, you'll be immersed in the comic-book world of Metropolis. You'll strap in for a sky tour of the city and soon encounter LEX LUTHOR after you take off from the station. This villain and his army of Lexbots use an anti-gravity gun to create chaos through the city. SUPERMAN comes along to destroy the anti-gravity gun, causing all the floating objects to suddenly fall Ð just as you're falling down the first giant drop on the coaster. As you twist, turn, loop, and dive along the coaster's track, you'll be soaring alongside SUPERMAN as he battles the Lexbots. You won't want to miss this first-of-its-kind virtual experience.

This is a 325-foot skyrocketing and ground-pounding, free-fall machine that has three towers with 12 riders per tower. A towering new free-fall thrill ride that catapults riders up each tower -- feet dangling. Then, riders are dropped for a free fall all the way back down.

SUPERMAN - TOWER OF POWER

SUPERMAN Tower of Power, is an extreme free fall ride that will take thrill seekers' breath away! SUPERMAN Tower of Power will test even nerves of steel as riders are slowly carried up to the top of the 230-ft tower while seated four across in ski-lift style chairs that face outward leaving their feet dangling in the open air. With a bird's eye view of the park from this towering mass of steel, guests are suspended for several seconds of gut wrenching, muscle tensing anticipation before the impending drop, a 23-story plunge at speeds in excess of 60-mph! Guests will be part of the action as they fight alongside SUPERMAN, BATMAN, WONDER WOMAN, THE FLASH and the rest of the JUSTICE LEAGUE team, to stop Lex Luthor and The Joker from their diabolical plan to take control of Metropolis. Aided by the cybernetic Super Hero known as CYBORG, guests will be recruited to join the JUSTICE LEAGUE reserve team and trained to use high-tech laser blasters in preparation for anything the Super-Villains have in store for them. Traveling in six-passenger vehicles, riders take to the streets and take aim against The Joker, Lex Luthor, and his relentless robot army, in the thrilling BATTLE FOR METROPOLIS!
The multi-degrees-of-freedom motion-based ride vehicles were created by Oceaneering and are equipped with six interactive laser blasters per vehicle to help guests find the JUSTICE LEAGUE and free them from their captors. Complete with 4D effects of simulating fire, cannon blasts, and explosions, JUSTICE LEAGUE: BATTLE FOR METROPOLIS is the ultimate dark ride adventure.
JUSTICE LEAGUE: BATTLE FOR METROPOLIS will feature custom-designed, state-of-the-art animatronics. The Joker's lifelike movements and menacing cackle will haunt riders as he sits atop his chaos-creating cannon spreading mayhem throughout the streets of Metropolis. The four-minute journey incorporates a wide array of special effects including five huge interactive 3D screens, incredible hi-definition animation and a dramatic musical score.
SUPERMAN: RIDE OF STEEL VIRTUAL REALITY COASTER

On one of North America's first dedicated Virtual Reality Roller Coasters, you'll experience thrills like never before. In partnership with Samsung Gear VR and Oculus, SUPERMAN: Ride of Steel will be equipped with wireless headsets that, while wearing, allow you to enter a virtual world with high-resolution imagery and 360-degree views that synchronize to the action of the coaster.

SUPERMAN: THE RIDE
Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts
Once riders take their seats and fasten the headsets, they will be fully immersed in the 360-degree comic-book world of Metropolis. Just after departing the station, riders encounter Lex Luthor who uses an anti-gravity gun along with his army of Lexbots to create chaos throughout the city with cars, taxis and buses floating in mid-air around the rider's vehicle. As the Lexbots continue shooting at the vehicle, SUPERMAN uses heat vision to destroy the anti-gravity gun, causing all objects to suddenly fall, including the train as it takes the first giant drop of the roller coaster. Riders then soar alongside SUPERMAN as he battles the evil Lexbots through hairpin twists and turns, dips and dives before ultimately defeating Lex and the Lexbots, and returning safely back into the station.

DC SUPER HERO DROP OF DOOM VR

Don special VR headsets to view the action as SUPERMAN and WONDER WOMAN battle their nemesis, LEX LUTHOR, while plunging 400 feet at speeds up to 85 mph. Buckle into floorless seats and strap on VR headsets and get immersed into a 360-degree virtual world where you will be unwittingly invited by DC Super-Villain, Lex Luthor, to test the newest LexCorp levitation technology.
Among the highlights of this intense, interactive storyline:
Lex Luthor levitates riders with his anti-gravity ray gun and they begin to float upward, rising high above the skyscrapers;
Wonder Woman and Superman dash to the rescue and an epic battle ensues high in the air over Metropolis;
Wonder Woman clashes with an army of flying LexBots while Superman is in fierce combat with Lex Luthor; and
High in the sky, the battle spins out of control and riders fall a thousand feet - straight down, to the city streets far, far below.

The 21m-high Doomsday Destroyer gives riders the chance to experience 2.4 negative G forces - more than two times less than their weight. The ride's two giant mechanical arms reach speeds of up to 36km/h as they turn full circle.

Witness some of DC Comics ultimate rivalries before taking off on 1.4 kilometres of track featuring the worldÕs first non-inverted loop. Rivalling all other roller coasters at 61.6 meters high. The first non inverting loop in the Southern Hemisphere reaching 40 metres high. The tallest, the longest and the fastest 1.4km long track. Reaching speeds of 115km per hour!
MEXICO
SUPERMAN - THE ULTIMATE ESCAPESix Flags Mexico.
Feel the rush of emotion during the 200 meter trip from the station to the highest part of the rise that is 67 meters tall, with an angle of 50 degrees to a velocity of 120 mph. More than three minutes of continuous pure adrenaline, with unexpected ups and downs.
SPAIN
SUPERMAN - RIDE OF STEEL"Parque Warner" Madrid, Spain.
Guests visit the Daily Planet, where the best-known newspaper of the city is celebrating Superman who has conquered the most dangerous delinquents of Metropolis. Visitors ride to a height of 50 meters and then are projected downward to a velocity of 100 km/h and send through spirals, fleeing Brainiac's Kryptonite laser. Fortunately all manage to escape from the diabolical plan and sinister trap and Superman recovers to continue fighting.

LEX LUTHOR RIDE
"Parque Warner" Madrid, Spain.
Found in the Super Heroes zone, this ride was created by Superman's arch enemy Lex Luthor. Only a mind so twisted as his could create an attraction in which so much adrenaline is generated. You will rotate time and again while rising and descending as if you were in a vortex. Do you dare put your life in the hands of this ingenious rogue?
