School photos are always an interesting day, and many of us look back on those photos and what we wore with some embarrassment many years later… Not for one little girl.
A father (only known as kjaj1213 on Reddit) posted a photo of his daughter’s school photograph with the message: “My daughter got to pick what she wore for her school pictures. Daddy approves”.
The little girl chose to wear her Supergirl costume, and pose for her school photo while embracing her Henry Cavill Superman doll.
Along with the picture, the proud father also shared that he and his wife recently learned that his daughter is 75% deaf and that the whole family is currently in the process of learning American Sign Language. “She’s learning so much faster than us though! I love how much her learning sign has opened up her expressiveness and vocabulary it’s so heart warming to see her grow and become her self. We’ve started attending deaf groups and get togethers once a month and it’s helping her confidence is signing tenfold.”

The power of this cute is too great! Very happy for her and wish the best to her and her family learning to communicate with signing. I think Clark and Kara would both be proud.

She is so cute. Her picture has gotten a little bit of attention..including from Melissa Benoist on Twitter. She IS Supergirl. This makes my heart full. THE FEELS! I think this little darling and her family should meet with Melissa say on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Hope the prodcution skeds don’t clash. But if this were to happen the cuteness scale would break and even men like myself couldn’t resist crying.
