November 7, 2016: More From Amy Adams on the “Man of Steel” Sequel

In another interview promoting her new movie “Arrival”, Amy Adams tells the UK’s Loaded that there’s very liittle similarity between her new film and “Man of Steel”, even though they’re both “First Contact” alien movies.

“It didn’t really feel like that story at all,” she said. “We’re dealing with human nature, not superheroes. The danger is coming from the human world and not from an unseen alien force. It felt very intimate and very unique to itself.”

Adams and co-star Jeremy Renner joke about a Lois Lane Hawkeye musical crossover, with Adams admitting that there has been some talk about another Superman film.

“It’s in discussion but there’s no script or official conversation,” she said.

I truly hope they get an amazing writer and director who focuses more on superman/clark rather then the characters around him. I want more superman dialogue for Henry. I think he has so much potential to be a great superman, but they keep hindering him by having him just stand around scowling instead of having quality speaking parts.

Hope they get this show on the road fast! I’m aching to see another solo Superman feature; live-action or otherwise. I’m practically dying from Batman overexposure…
