March 17, 2012: "Superman vs. The Elite" Available June 12
Superman vs. The Elite, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies, will be distributed June 12, 2012 by Warner Home Video.Warner Home Video hosted the World Premiere of Superman vs. The Elite yesterday, as the featured Friday night event of WonderCon in Anaheim. A panel discussion followed the film featuring director Michael Chang, screenwriter Joe Kelly, and versatile actor Robin Atkin Downes, who provides the voice of Manchester Black, leader of the Elite. Look for a report and video interviews from the premiere here on the Superman Homepage soon.
In Superman vs. The Elite, Superman's effectiveness as a super hero comes into question when a new group of super powerful crusaders, known as "The Elite," appear on the scene. As super heroes, the Elite know no bounds, and are more than willing to kill, even on a massive scale, to stop villainy - putting them on a collision course with the ever-ethical, yet preferably non-lethal Man of Steel.
We'll let you know when Superman vs. The Elite is available for pre-order.
