December 9, 2007: Miller Says Writer's Strike Won't Delay JLA Movie

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that George Miller revealed that the on-going writer's strike in the U.S. will not affect the "Justice League of America" filming schedule...

George Miller said his new film Justice League of America wasn't affected by the recent writers' strike in the US and is expected to start shooting in the new year, under a new name. However, Miller wouldn't comment on casting, including rumours of Megan Gale joining the film.

What the movie's shooting name or working title will be has yet to be discovered. "Superman Returns" was filmed under the name "Red Sun".

It seems the recent LA Times article touting Scott Porter as Superman in the JLA movie was way off, with Scott Porter discussing the situation on video (which you can watch via YouTube).
