Comicon.com interviewed Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray about their recent Lori Lemaris story in "Superman Confidential". Here's an excerpt from the interview...
- Q: With your Superman Confidential story, you're using one of my favorite women from Superman's life, Lori Lemaris. What made you want to use her in your tale?
JIMMY PALMIOTTI: These are suppose to be classic personal tales of superman's life and we figured she would not only be a great character to write, but she fits in many ways the emotional moments we are trying to represent in the story.
Q: Why do you think this particular character from the mythos is remembered so fondly by Superman fans?
JIMMY PALMIOTTI: she meant something to superman, had an impact on him in a number of levels, is beautiful and has a fantasy element about her being a mermaid that is very attractive to readers.
