February 11, 2005: Noel Neill Joins “Superman Returns” Cast
This was something I was aware of, but was unable to speak about due to a confidentiality promise I made, however with the news being leaked out via Superman-V.com, I have been given approval to announce that Noel Neill has officially been cast in "Superman Returns".Noel starred as Lois Lane in the Kirk Alyn "Superman" Serials of the late 1940s and early 1950s. She also returned to the role for all but the first season of the 1950s "The Adventures of Superman" TV series starring George Reeves. Noel also made a cameo appearance as the mother of Lois Lane in the extended version of "Superman: The Movie".
Noel's role in "Superman Returns" is reportedly more than just a cameo appearance this time around. We'll provide more details on her role as it becomes available.
