Villains United #1

May 23, 2005: DC Sends “Villains United #1” Back for Third Printing

Villainy continues to spread through comics shops everywhere as the VILLAINS UNITED #1 Second Printing has sold out at DC Comics nine days before its in-store date of May 18.

Now, DC Comics sends this issue back to press for a new, third printing, scheduled to arrive in stores on June 8. The cover of this printing features an inked and colored version of the second printing's cover, with art by Dale Eaglesham & Wade von Grawbadger.

"Any opportunity for more people to see the amazing artistry of Dale Eaglesham, Wade von Grawbadger and Sno-Cone is good news," says Simone. "Plus, I think this proves once and for all that comics readers are evil and twisted inside and want to see the downfall of society. Frankly, I'm both appalled and delighted, and I'm telling all their mothers."

"As with the second printing of THE OMAC PROJECT #1, orders on the second printing of VILLAINS UNITED #1 exceeded our print run, so we're making the issue available again," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales. "Retailers should not delay in placing orders, as they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis."
