January 18, 2002: Superman Homepage in "Superman #178"
The Superman Homepage website and address makes an appearance within the pages of "Superman #178"!!!On page 5 of the comic book, Lex Luthor is seen to be at this computer visiting a website from which he's read about Superman's visit to Smallville. The website seen on his computer screen is a comic book representation of this very website, with the address "SupermanHomepage.com" clearly visible on the screen!
Below is the panel from page 5, with a second image showing the computer screen close-up. Click on the images to view larger versions.
Thanks to the many people who spotted this early and emailed me.
As a side note, those of you interested in knowing, on page 23 of this comic one of the classified photos brought to Lex Luthor shows Kryptonian writing, the English translation of this writing is "The House of Jor-El".
