February 21, 2001: More Superman DVD Spoiler Information
My trusty connection to the Superman DVD again reports that WB has told him that the "Hollywood sign" scene will only appear with the girl scouts, not during the world reversal segment. Scenes like the mid-air rocket catch attempt will not appear anywhere on the DVD because they are so brief. I've also learned that the documentaries are going to be incredible and will be hosted by Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen). Casting director Lynn Stalmaster is on the audio commentary for the screen tests. As far as the preview is concerned, it will be heavily promoted in the San Antonio market, as was The Exorcist, and MAY be released in major cities if it is successful, regardless of the current release date of the DVD. I will have a report next week after viewing the entire edit.
