So glad to see the costume still has the long cape! Very very cool! Can't wait!

Everything seems to be improved (escept I liked the slightly higher boots in MOS). These pics seem to confirm the less silvery look around the waist, back and leg stripes. I can't help but get a bit geeked out looking at these.

can anyone say staged leaked shot.
#4 | KElCKentSuperman on August 21, 2014 9:45am EST
The cape appears to be a different material then the one used in "Man of Steel". Looks like more substantial and/or heavier material.

^I think the cape in MOS was pretty heavy. The flowing cape shots were cg because the cape was so heavy it didn't flow.

Who cares if it's a "staged leaked shot"? I'm happy to see more of the new(ish) costume--it looks great.

looks a little better than in MOS. I like that it looks a bit brighter, but with colour grading who knows how it will look. I like that the silly black lines all over it seem to be more blue now so they won't be as noticeable and that there seems to be a more defined belt. The yellow on the S looks less dirty as well. All good changes but I still think it's too dark. But again with colour grading who knows. And are the highlights air brushed on? I know they do that sometimes but it isn't supposed to be obvious.

It's interesting that his suit is in plain sight yet he still wears the robe. Curious if they perhaps added either the yellow or black \S/ on the cape.

Is it just me or does the updated suit and haircut make him look taller? He just looks larger than life...more super!

Can't wait! Smile
#10 | Supereyes on August 21, 2014 10:10pm EST
Judging from the first official photo of Supes in his new suit, it's likely there won't be a big difference from MOS with the color of the film. In that photo, the red looked purpleish.

This is what I want to see: Someone in a superhero costume. I could care less about pictures of "Bruce Wayne" or "Lois Lane."

After all, this is a superhero movie and that's what I want to see: Superheroes.

I notice they made his boots more like the traditional style with the detailing at the top. There also seems to be a higher heel on the boots. Is this to get him even in height to Ben? Ben seemed taller in the photos from Comic Con...
