While “Superman IV: The Quest For Peace” isn’t one of the most revered Superman movies starring Christopher Reeve, for UK artist Richard DeDomenici it was the perfect choice for an entry in his Redux Project – creative and witty recreations of sections of popular films.
With the help of the good citizens of Milton Keynes as cast and crew members, Richard reshot and edited key scenes from the original film during the week of IF: 2016, the 30th anniversary of the film being made.
This includes an iconic flying scene in front of Milton Keynes Central Station, which stood in for the United Nations Headquarters.
Filmed on the 22 and 23rd, and premiered on the 30th of July 2016.
This was hilarious. I appreciate the effort that went into it… the special effects are better than the ones in Superman 4, at least! 😛

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace was a badly made movie, no doubt, but it had an interesting idea. Is it Superman’s responsibility to protect us from ourselves? If so, what consequence might come out of him taking it upon himself to do such a thing. Superman: Red Son explored a similar idea, just with better execution. “Why don’t you just put the whole world in a bottle, Superman?” On a side… Read more »
