DC Comics held their “Superman: Rebirth” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 22, with “New Super-Man” writer Gene Yang, “Superman” co-writers Peter Tomasi and Pat Gleason, along with the “Action Comics” team of writer Dan Jurgens and artist Tyler Kirkham on hand to discuss the Superman books.
Superman Homepage reporter Luis Jaime, who recorded the panel for us explains, “I waited in line for over an hour to make it inside this panel. Now, that may not seem like much, but it has never taken that long to get into a SUPERMAN panel. In previous years, attendance has been low. But REBIRTH had really made a difference. The fans I talked to were are just as excited as I was. I am very happy with the way SUPERMAN is being handled. I am confident that the creative teams really care about SUPERMAN, as well as the fans.”
