Brian Ching’s pencils look great on Kara. I mostly enjoy his work; his style is as close as we can get to ligne claire in the Western mainstream – and that’s a-okay with me. I’ve been longing for more variety in the mainstream for quite some time, and the slow resurrgence of ligne claire-esque pencillers is welcomed. Ching did some excellent work on Conan the Avenger, save for (my minor quibble, anyway) his Conan not always looking much like a fearsome brute. I love what I see in these samples though. Great stuff.
