Love the looks of the animation of the series, let’s just hope that Cartoon network will keep the series going for more then 1 or 2 season.
Aside from the lack of red trunks on Superman and lack of black trunks Batman, the lack of stars on Wonder Woman, and the missing yellow ellipse belt buckle on Superman, and Batman’s missing yellow belt, his show looks FANTASTIC. Bruce Timm & CO can do no wrong. I can’t wait for this series. Brainiac’s design is interesting… I see they’re emphasizing the BRAIN part of his name in his physical appearance. Very excited for this show. I love the colors and cast (Wonder what Superman sounds like — hopefully like Tim Daly!). Joker’s design is great. The art style… Read more »
You know, for once it would be nice for an artist to have the guts to write a story where Superman beats Batman and leaves no doubt about the outcome, I’m REALLY GETTING TIRED OF SEEING HIM WIN THE FIGHT. Other than that this looks great
I’m with you, but in this case I’m holding out hope that the video game fight in a virtual arena will turn out to be staged, faked for a villain’s benefit, part of a game Firestorm is playing on his GameSphere, or something like that. There’s enough weird stuff going on for plausible deniability in that clip, anyway. Besides, there’s no way Batman punches Superman and he goes FLYING in “real life”. Not that Batman or Superman exist in real life, but uh– Aw, you know what I mean.
Maybe he’s a robot. . .and I’m still rooting for the robot. Check out Batman: Brave and the Bold, if you want to see an episode where Superman wins the match-up.
Woo hoo! Swamp Thing! He got his lights punched out but… Woo hoo! Swamp Thing!
I am hella psyched about this show! It’s gonna be a lot of fun!
This looks like a lot of fun, I’ll certainly be checking that out!
One interesting thing.. I’ve somewhat gotten used to the lack of trunks on most versions of Superman, but it’s funny how, in this animation style, I really miss them. It really stands out to me here, for some reason. Like they didn’t finish it or something?
Looks great 🙂
So there is no Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, or Martian ManHunter? But we have Plastic Man, Firestorm, and Vixen. Wth DC?!
