The CW Network has released a new poster image promoting their plans to air the entire first season of SUPERGIRL on Monday nights starting August 1, with two episodes each week until the new season of SUPERGIRL premieres on October 10 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).
Nice, but I was sort of hoping they would have added the yellow in the S-shield. I do miss that. There’s nothing wrong with color.
I figured they would have done that too. I mean they did that for Flash on Season 2 and there have been loads of complements for that one. I loved the white circle better instead of the red for Season 1. My guess is they still want to distance themselves from the movies.
It’s a poster promoting a rerun of the first season, so they’re going to show that suit and/or artwork used from that season – which they have.
Although I doubt very much they’ll change the costume for season 2. I don’t mind it tbh, but I hope they fill in the yellow for Superman’s.
As much as I love the classic S for the super girl show I do like the yellowless S… And to be honest I really hope superman has the fleischer logo haha my favorite version of supes is fleischer
I will say I wish the red was a little more red then dark red… It looks too much like the routh red
I was ehhh..about the S at first but I grew to really like it and I have high hopes for their version of the Superman suit…which I don’t think will have he shorts but will have a design to simulate the shorts enhancement of the costume. I’m very much used to the no shorts look for the movies but I think changing it up for TV will be good. I also read that it appears the The Flashpoint paradox being done on the Flash is what will bring her into this universe. That whatever he does will merge the universes… Read more »
