Just had a thought about this. I know it's traditional for someone like Batman to encounter things like werewolves and vampires, but I'm sure Superman has had his encounter with things that go bump in the night too. Can anyone point me to any stories where Superman battles supernatural monsters? Only a steel man came to recover

Their is an issue in Superman 70 Vol. II where Superman teams up with Robin to fight some vampire in Night of the Bat. I think it is a two part story finishing in Adventures of Superman, not sure. Another great arc is Soul Search that ran in Action Comics 656 and Superman 47 Vol. II and Adventures of Superman 470. This has to do with demons and stuff. It dealt with Jerry White's death, Perry's son. Real good reading from the early 1990's. I hope this is of any help. You are here for a reason.

Yeah I think I have those issues. One of them as a vampire sucking Superman's blood on the cover and the next issue has Superman looking terrified and trying to pull away an angry Robin from the fight. I always hated those covers. |
