Michael Cera...Wow! That's more perfect than I thought possible. He may be too much of a big-shot for that now though. Unless, of course, they make Jimmy a more significant character than they usually do. |

 ALEX ARSENAULT as JIMMY OLSEN (Born February 28, 1985 age 25) is an Canadian/American TV actor. WHY? Alex looks like he came strait from a DC comics page as Jimmy Olsen. He is a little older than I think Jimmy should be portrayed but he can easily pull off younger, and has in many of his TV gigs. You may know him as the now deceased Philomon from ScyFy's new Caprica series. He's actually a pretty good actor and would be great as the timid James Olsen. Drago

I know Jimmy has been in various incarnations but it does not have to be vital to have a Jimmy. Heck if they have the idea of sorta do a triolgy of movcies why not save that character for number 2. |

Characters like Jimmy and Perry, even Lois, don't necessarily have to be in the first film, as long as the plot drives the story towards the pathos and charm that those characters bring to the mythos. If Michael Cera played it straight,no comedy please. He and Eisenberg are too big for the role imo,I dont think Jimmy will get much screen time in the movie,if he's in it at all,up coming actor or unknown I reckon. Hey Robert,45 posts in two days,good going dude!  |
