FAVORITE SCENES

Ok so I'm a girl...

1. THe airplane scene and epsecially the end of it where he asks "are you okay?" when their eyes lock, my heart just stopped

2. The rooftop, especially where they almost kiss, man could you cut the tension with a knife on that one!

3. When he falls back to earth - I had tears in my eyes

4. end credits where he replicates the ending for the first 4 superman movies. more chills

5. where Lois says "I've done Superman." Jimmy and Clark giggle.

however....I pretty much loved the whole thing, a few scenes made me shake my head such as the pathetically poorly staged attempt when Lois "accidentally" dropped her purse and said "oh great" yeah give me a break , that was a cringe moment

my favorite scences.
#1. right when Superman breaks the wing off and he flys back down to save the plane. the music is so intense with the choir and all. i listen to it all the time on my bluetooth.

#2 just before he flys over the earth, he flys though the clouds. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

#3 he lowers kittys mustang and smiles at her to assure her everything alright. awesome!!!!

#4 superman listening in space. another fan said that that scene was iconic. i agree

#5 the scene where he rips though the dark cloud to the bottom of new krypton. so fast, so jacked up

#6 a favorite but a sad one. when he falls back to earth. and the boy with he gog and everyone cant do anything but watch as he hits the ground

ahh hell the whole damn movie is great! lol sorry for wasting everyones time

I have to pick a favorite?! Man that's hard but I'll have to say the plane sequence, the robber scene, the Lex scene on the boat, gee there are so many.

My favorite scenes are the falling airplane scene and the boat scene. Awesome scenes.

Let's see, favourite scenes.
When Superman plows down on the landmass, stopping abruptly with a boom.
When he lifts the boat from the water.
When Supe soars through Metropolis saving it from the quake - ie, when he catches the Daily Planet logo and lowers it slowly.
When he saves the security guards by blocking the bullets, starts walking unflichingly toward the gunman, and then gets 'shot' in the eye.
The plane scene - of course - had my eyes the size of subwoofers.
Cool

The obvious one has to be Superman's return with the airplane rescue but other fav bits:

1) The begining Jor-El voice over and credits w. J. Williams theme (thankyou Singer for giving me a cinematic experience of what I'd longed for having only caught Superman: The Movie on VHS, and TV).
2)The Daily Planet rooftop scene - all of it starting from Clark loosing his glasses and the burrito eating scene when Lois returns to the offices.
3)Lex and Superman meet.
4) "I have to go back" Richard's seaplane.
5) Superman quotes his father to his son Smile

Christopher Reeve Homepage
"The key word for me on him is 'inspiration.' He is a leader by inspiration. He sets an example. It's quite important that people realize that I don't see him as a glad-handing show-off, a one-man vigilante force who rights every wrong. Basically, he's a pacifist, a man who comes along and says, 'What can I do to help?' He stands on the sidelines until there is real trouble. He does not want to get involved unless it's absolutely necessary because he thinks people should learn to make their own decisions."
- Christopher Reeve on Superman.

The opening sequence rocked.

Plane sequence

Hefting the island

Superman speaking to his son. Mint.

I wish they would have left in some of the deleted scenes, like Clark x-ray scanning the old newspapers, and one of the scenes with Martha. And of course, I wish the Return to Krypton scene would have been included on the disc. Who cares if Singer wanted it for the big screen? I watched the tiny crystal ship on the quicktime movie trailer and liked it just fine.

The airplane. and when he flew up to the sun to get his strength back.

1. The flying with Lois scene. I love the quote by Supes, "You wrote that the world doesn't need a savior...but everyday I hear people calling for one.."

2. The plane rescue. What a comeback! And the line they recycled from the 1978 film was a nice touch.

3. I liked when he flew through the elevator towards the end. That looked really awesome.

4. The bank heist scene was great. I love how today's technology is able to actually show the bullets being smashed as they hit him.

5. When Lois comes back from the roof, and Richard says, "Tell the truth now..." I liked the look on Jimmy's face.

6. I love how, near the end, when he almost dies on New Krypton, he still goes back to save the world. That's why I hope we see a "Death of Superman" film someday!
Neither Snake nor Wesker, but a perfect combination of the two.

When Lois looks out the window on the plane and sees the red blur...

when Lois accidently walks into Lex brushing his teeth!

Superman pushing new Krypton into space!

So many things to say...(opening credits, floating above earth, bullet in the eye, etc.)

His 1st appearance as Superman while rescuing the shuttle...the heat vision looks fantastic! Wink

The things that i love about the movie have already been
wrote but what about when supes ask richard have you got them?
Richard says yeah and supes lets the boat go WITH ONE HAND!
How cool is that?

Ok, my fav scenes where:

* At the farm, where Clark does his flash back. Not the actual flashback though, just prior to it.
* When He flies Lois from atop the Daily Planet. It just looks so comfy...I like to picture myself there instead of Kate ~blush~.
* And finally when Superman bursts through the clouds after being daved by "The Lanes". It's just so beautiful, lovely music and top-notch cinematography. I'd like to have that scene on a poster.

The best scene was the big Superman reveal when he rescued them from the boat.

(Hello! First post ^_^)

My favorite scene is when Superman lands the plane in the middle of the baseball field and the crowd starts cheering him.

Every time I see it, it puts a tear in my eye.
