A new DC All Access video takes us behind-the-scenes of the upcoming “Justice League vs. Suicide Squad” comic book crossover with writer Joshua Williamson.

The DC Universe’s greatest heroes will lock claws (literally, in Killer Croc’s case) with some of it’s most powerful villains in Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, the first major event of the Rebirth era. In this DC All Access comics clip, Joshua Williamson gives us a preview of this highly anticipated miniseries, including shedding some light on the real villains of the story and letting us know which members of the two teams will be mixing it up!

“Justice League vs. Suicide Squad” begins with a prologue story in Suicide Squad #8, which is on sale now.

You remember how during DC vs. Marvel, Wolverine beat Lobo in a fight? Yeah.

Then again, maybe it’ll actually be a well-written masterpiece that doubles as a cheap cash-in, as opposed to just a cheap cash-in.

The concept is just dumb and will lead to poor writing to justify it imo. VS happens so often that they might as well just do away with story and plot and characterization and have a mortal combat style matchup each issue. Why keep up the pretense? (yes, that’s hyperbolic, but the point has a little validity sadly) Smh

Why is it, that yet again a story line/event is being essentially condemned, before anyone has even read the first issue? In fact, The Homepage has been reviewing the Suicide Squad book for a few months now, because it features General Zod, in a segment called Elsewhere in the DCU. I haven’t seen one person comment on that, even though their have been seeds planted for this event for quite sometime. But as soon as this is revealed, everyone has the pitchforks out. I so far have loved almost all of what DC has been producing since Rebirth began, and… Read more »

Bashing the concept may as well be bashing the book. The point is, its being looked at negatively, before anyone has even read it…
