The voting booth for our 14th annual awards ceremony for the world of Superman has closed!
Voting began on November 13, 2014 and ended 11.59pm on December 14, 2014.
The 2014 SHIELD Awards gave you, the fans, the opportunity to voice your opinions about comics with a 2014 cover date, Superman related Movies, TV shows, and Superman merchandise released in 2014.
Everyone who voted in the 2014 SHIELD Awards automatically went into the draw for a chance to win "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham", the new video game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
There could only be one winner and that person is: David Grant Lloyd
The results have been forwarded on to DC Comics, Warner Bros., and the various winners. Congratulations to those creative people involved!

BEST COMIC BOOK WRITER
"Action Comics" writer Greg Pak is this year's Best Comic Book Writer, beating out Geoff Johns in a close finish. Last year's winner, "Superman Unchained" writer Scott Snyder, dropped to 4th position in 2014.

BEST REGULAR SUPERMAN TITLE
In 2012 "Action Comics" was voted Best Regular Superman Title, but was beaten out by "Superman Unchained" last year. It returns to the top of the table in 2014, with last year's winner dropping to 4th position. The defunct "Adventures of Superman" was a worthy second place.

With only two chapters released in 2013 (at the time of polling), "Forever Evil" easily took top spot in this category in 2013, so it was no wonder that the remainder of the story would be voted in the No. 1 position once again for 2014.
